Fatal Accident on Sunrise in Seaford??
Does anyone know what happaned on Sunrise Highway in Seaford tonight? Obviously, there was some kind of accident and someone died because they had a body covered in the street. It wa closed quite a ways. I felt so bad and it was horrible to see knowing that person is related to someone.

DH and I were about 30 seconds behind it. We were there before any of the EMT or police. There was just a body laying in the road and all of the cars didn't know what to do.
I asked someone who actually witnessed it what happened. He said that it was a pedestrian crossing Sunrise and from he gathered, the guy was drunk. A cadillac hit the guy. I feel terrible for the victim and his family and I also feel horrible for the person driving the car

Oh no!!!
I fear it might be one of my students or a family member of theirs.
Several years ago, 5 students were involved in a fatal accident. One was killed, one had a lot of damage to his eye and forever lost his dream of attending Annapolis
Another former female student died crossing that road, shortly after graduating

We saw it too.........after the fact when the poor body was 1/2 covered up on the road & the Medical Examiner was taking a peek.

OMG that is horrible! That poor man! I also feel bad for you and your DH that you saw the aftermath

That's terrible.
My best friend lost his brother because he was trying to cross sunrise hwy.
