Car Seat Installation
I finally put the snug ride in our car. I used Latch and put it in the middle of the back seat. It seems loose. Are you supposed to be able to move the base from side to side.

Pull the part that looks like a seat belt.
It will tighten and make the base snug.

It is as tight as it will go but the base still shifts a little if you push it.

It shouldn't move more than an inch either way when trying to move it back and forth.

Yes, no more than 1 inch give. I suggest you have it inspected. I did and felt much better I had installed it correctly.
