Re: Lamps
I have purchased lamps all over the place. Ikea, Marshalls, HomeGoods, lighting stores, Target, etc. It's more about finding the propper lamp for your decor. I am always on the look out for what will fit in various rooms in my house. Each room is a work in progress and pieces are added when I find what is right.

Re: Lamps
a place I haven't bought from (found it too late!), but would love to is ylighting.com. It's especially great if you want something modern....
other mod / mid-century mod lights... pricy but genuine classics..... can be found at unica.com and retromodern.com

Re: Lamps
HomeGoods and Marshalls if you can find a pair grab them fast Lowes has nice ones as well. Jcpenneys Home Store is a little more $$ but pretty. BBB & LNT sells sets of 3 and you can get 20% with a coupon

Yes - I completely agree. I once let a lamp go and then frantically searched for it a week later...gone. Now I grab them when I see them. I just bought a set for the master bedroom.

Re: Lamps
Homegoods or Marshalls, yes it is hit or miss but I always find different things their and never expensive. I got lucky and found 2 matching lamps once and I have yet to find something remotely close to those.

Re: Lamps
Try e-bay. I've gotten about three lights from there and never had a problem - got a great price too!
