Natural Family Planning
Not sure if this is the right board for this exactly... as it can be used for TTC as well as birth control...this practice is encouraged by the Catholic Church as a natural way to prevent pregnancy and/or planning your pregnancy.
But, DH and I are interested in learning more about it... does anyone here do this? Opinions? Thoughts? I would like to rely less on chemicals (i.e. the pill) for birth control and possibly even do it in a way that would be more in line with my pro-life views while being realistic that I can't have 89 children!!

Get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Many people use it for TTC but I am sure plenty use it for natural birth control.

Read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It teaches the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM).

ITA! I think it's what we will use after TTC since it's so nice to know where you are in your cycle. It can be very accurate if you are able to recognize your fertility signs.

I also heard that the Diocese runs a program concerning this... couples that use this method present on it... anyone go to one of those and if, so helpful or no???
I will check out the posted book, though. THANKS!
