I think that my company hires people through more word of mouth. I know that we don't advertise on monster or any of the job websites. People from within the industry will also hear about an open position and send their resume over.

They post openings on their website, Monster.com, careerbuilder.com and the New York Times Paper.

we advertise on Hotjobs.com, also use an employment agency and we post it on our internal website for current employees to view (whether for themselves or to recommend a friend)
