HDTV Owners
How many of you here on LIF own a Full HDTV that's 1080p? A lot of people go out and purchase what they think is a HDTV and turns out it's not really HDTV.

1080p is referred to as full HD, not true HD in my experience.
Otherwise, why would the picture be improved on a LCD HDTV at all??
1080p is definitely a better picture though.

We have 1080p, don't ask my why I know that but I do!
ETA: we have a 46 or 47" Sony Bravia with the black frame not silver.

What we have noticed. People are shopping in a store like Best Buy asking for a HDTV and coming home with a TV that's 720p.

I have two Full HDTV's. I love them both equally! I can watch Soundstage on 1080p in the living room and I love to watch the Thunderbirds in 1080p in the bedroom, before I go to sleep.
