Need opinions please

I had some cramping Tues. night (CD 10) and breast tenderness yesterday (CD 11) BUT my fertility monitor has been giving me lows since CD 6! By chance, I decided to do an opk last night around 10:00pm (CD 11) and sure enough, I got a smiley. By this time my DH was already sawing wood so we couldn't bd last night.

Get up reeaaaaaaaaal early this morning at 4:30 (CD 12) so I can attack him in the am before he goes to work (poor guy), but I first go to do my fm and opk. My fertility monitor gives me a peak (so it went from low yesterday morning to peak today!) my opk is negative, and I'm confused and sad that this month is a bust! Basically from 10:00 last night to 4:30 this morning my surge dropped.

So here is my question, do you think I could have O'ed in the middle of the night thus leaving me a chance for this month. I can't believe that my body is playing games with me like this. I always get highs before my peak on the fm and never peak before cd 13!

All my "planning" just flew out the window.

When you detect your surge, that just means you are getting ready to ovulate and will usually ovulate within the next 24 hours. I would say BD like crazy the next few days!

I got my surge on Monday evening... we missed BDing on Monday, but have been going crazy since My doctor offered to do an IUI (we've been dealing with IF issues) this month and she would have done it the following day, but we wanted to do it the fun way
