this is what i hoped too! i was using the monitor as well but all i kept getting was high fertility so i hope that one day i got positive meant i was going to ovulate! ive used the monitor for over a year ttc and ive never just gotten high days, i always had peak days. i just get nervous!!!

Why do you continue testing after a positive? One positive opk is all you need to signal peak fertility. Totally normal. Day after day of positives is abnormal.
As for the monitor not picking it up, I wonder if it has to do with the fmu thing. It could have missed it if your surge was short and you test with the monitor in the morning.
I use the monitor too. Have you ever gotten a positive opk the day before a first peak on your monitor? I have.

i thought you were supposed to get two + days.......but that makes me feel better!!!!
what i did this month was use the monitor in the morning and the OPK in the late afternoon. this is the first month i used OPK. but this is the first month i never got a peak day. its weird because shouldnt one have showed up if i got a + opk?  I GET CONFUSED!!

Last month was the first time I used OPKs. I got a + for 2 days, but I thought one day only was more common!
I guess I didn't have to keep on testing after the first pos, but I sort of got addicted to POAS! lol.
