Temping, testing, poas, etc makes it much more stressful for those who are ttc. Instead just bd every other dance until your next cycle. Lot less stressful and your dh will love me( ).
Good luck.
WAIT! So, you mean to tell me that the secret to conceiving a child is... *gasp*... having intercourse?!?! Who would've thunk it?!
I'm not TTC, and i'm sure you mean well, but try not to be too surprised if your 'enlightenment' isn't exactly celebrated- i think a significant amount of people on this board are already aware of how to conceive a child, but have moved on to those other methods that you mentioned because it wasn't as simple for them as just BDing every other night.

I think she was just trying to be helpful. Maybe it worked for her?

Re: Great tip for those ttc...
I tried your suggestions for 6+ months only to learn I had IF problems requiring diagnostic and surgical procedures. I am sorry, but it isn't that easy for everyone. One never knows what is keeping a couple from conceiving. There are hundreds if not thousands of contributing factors. I am sure you meant well, but just consider who your audience may be.
ETA: Those who are early in TTC with no preexisting conditions or known difficulties would certainly benefit from the info in the original post. I for one was told to temp, chart and POAS from my RE so he is able to use the information as a diagnostic tool in my treatment. As much as I hate doing it, it has helped me (and him) more than I thought it would.

No need to worry. I think we all know you meant no offense. Sorry if I was hasty in my response.
