Parents and non parents alike...looking for your input! The is philharmonic concert inside a theatre...usually I wouldnt THINK about bringing JAG to it, but the company that is hosting the event is calling it Company family series
does that mean it's ok to bring a screaming baby? I would normally say NO WAY but I am confused on this one.

Re: Opinions
ok, question two...another company family series is in the park, does that make it ok to bring a baby?

Re: Opinions
I do think it makes it different if it's in the park - I think it's a more casual atmosphere and if he starts crying, you or Darren can always take him on a little walk.

i agree with this- parks echo less than theatres.

Re: Opinions
I guess I just want to argue the family part for the theatre...why call it that when it really shouldn't be a family affair

doesn't mean it's appropriate for ALL members of the family - many people call their dogs part of their family - you wouldn't bring your dog into the theater, now would you?

I agree
though when we took Ella to an opera in the park last year, I almost got into it with a woman who was telling me to "take her out" (she cried for a minute at the start of the show). I was like "take her out WHERE?" We're OUTSIDE, in a PARK, dumbazz.

Re: Opinions
I wouldn't...I know that James would get bored...and I would be chasing him around the theater...and Marianna would be fussy. It just wouldn't be as enjoyable with the kids...I feel that they are just not yet old enough to appreciate the philharmonic, and because they would be bored with it...it would take away from my enjoyment.
besides...every parent deserves a night out once in a blue moon
