spinoff to the housekeeper using the phone
are we as a society pessamistic????
why are we always thinking people are doing bad things or have the potential to be bad.
i dont think we are as forgiving as we should be.
there is not so much "benefit of the doubt" these days.
it just seems like there is no trust these days, and we always go to the negative.
the post about the housekeeper using teh phone got me wondering this since so many people said that the OP should fire her and that she may be stealing. this is ludacris to me. i dont mean to bring that thread, here i am simply using it as an example.
does anyone agree or am i totally crazy?

I think it's good to be aware but not to be on the defensive as much.

I wouldn't mind them using the phone....maybe I would mind long distance calls.
But you hear stories that make you think twice. Because some people really do take advantage.

people always seem to look to place blame and look at the possible bad things that 'could' have happened. i don't know why our culture has become this way
