Oh no.
We are leaving for our cruise in two days and just found out that DH's grandpa passed away this morning. He was such a sweet man. Thank goodness we were able to spend some time with him about a week ago (we live in CT, he is in NY).
There won't be a wake or funeral, he is being cremated and they want to have a memorial service for him. I really hope that they can get it together by tomorrow so that we can go.  Is that possible?
Side note...my in-laws had to put their beloved dog to sleep last night after battling cancer. Between their dog and their dad dying within hours of each other, they could use some hugs/prayers right now. Thanks.
