i'm sorry, i just dont..when i used to work in fashion EVERY GIRL i worked w/had a pair and i used to get asked "oh jeanine why dont u have a pair?"

I actually hadn't really considered getting them until I saw these:

I don't know if I would get those particular ones, but if I was still working in Manhattan I would have some type of rain shoe. When I was working in the city. I would wear rain gear to work and bring my clothes with me. I hate getting to work and being wet and damp.

 Good for you! I saw the a lot last year & tehn this week , they seem to be everywhere! My boss & I were discussing this yesterday actually. I like the idea that something practical is in fashion, but I hate the ones that are very childish looking.
I do walk around the city every day, but I wouldn't wear them b/c they are too popular right now & I hate changing my shoes when I get to work. I just waterproof my leather boots & wear those.

now that is exactly why I started this post, as my pants were soaked entirely on Wednesday...and after always seeing everyone SMARTLY dressed around NYC and me looking like a fool, I figured I would see what everyone thought of these...
Felicia, Wednesday, I saw someone wering a very short skirt, no hose & flip flops. I guess that is one way to keep yout close dry, but she did seem cold. I do find that wearing a skirt with boots ( not rubber ones) is usually easier to deal with in the rain, than pants.

I think they're GREAT for bad weather (snow or rain). I wouldnt be able to wear the patterned ones though - I would do the solids.

They just aren't my style. I can't see myself buying a pair. I have black, material water resistant boots that I wear in the rain and snow.
