I truly would not worry about doing this until you know you are pregnant. Remember, our parents did a lot of the things that are "not allowed" & we all turned out fine....Don't drive yourself crazy, not worth it...JMHO

I think you're fine. My doctor didn't tell me until my appt at 6 weeks that I shouldn't change the litter, so I'm assuming before then that it wasn't a big deal.

personally, i would stay away or at least wear gloves.. why expose yourself to something unneccessarily.. although the risk of exposure is rare to toxoplasmosis it is there!
