Going off of the pill question
A few weeks ago, I posted that I was 5 weeks late. I took blood and did 3 tests, all negative. So, it's almost July, and I haven't had AF since April.
Has anyone else gone through this after comming of off the pill? Help make me feel normal.

Since you've taken a blood test, I assume you've been in touch with your doctor. What does he/she say? My doctor's rule was if you don't get AF within 2 or 3 mos, you need some help. Maybe discuss with your doctor getting some medication to bring on AF and then consider charting next cycle so you know where you're at.
Charting will also help your doctors expedite a diagnosis and treatment should those become necessary.

What were you on? I did Depo and it took about 6mon before I had another period. What you were on and for how long plays a big role in it. If you still aren't getting it in the next month I would go to the ob/gyn for a check up and some hormone blood work. Good luck!!!

I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen. I have an appointment on July 17th, so I'm hoping they will give me a solution.

WOW, really my period never skipped a beat after coming off them. Iwas on them for 15 years.

You may need Provera or Prometrium. I am starting Prometrium tonight b/c I haven't had AF in 46 days. I had M/C in February and need help regulating my cycles.
This can be common after coming off the pill, so don't worry - you are normal!

I had the same problem. I was 3 months late and all tests were negative. My doctor finally put me on provera and that gave me AF. I am anxiously awaiting her arrival next week! If she shows up then we will start TTC soon after Good luck to you! Everything will be fine! This happens to a lot of people, I have found.
