I used to have the boiler the mud room with my washer and dryer(directly off of the garage and the kitchen) DH moved the boiler into our garage and now I have storage in my laundry room.

Re: ? for homeowners with no basement

Our boiler is in the closet under the stairs and our washer and dryer is in a custom closet we had built into the wall between the kitchen and the garage. The closet is built into the garage and the doors to the closet are in the kitchen

We're in a front to back split. Boiler is in a room off our den (lowest level) and the washer dryer is in our 1/2 bath also off the laundry room. Some people around us have moved the washer dryer into the boiler room or into the garage.

Re: ? for homeowners with no basement

we're in a cape - the boiler was originally in a closet but was moved to the garage before we bought the house. Our washer and dryer is in a small laundry room off from the kitchen, behind the garage. I actually LOVE this convenience - I'd keep it this way even if we had a basement!

We have a pantry/laundry room off our kitchen. The hot water heater, boiler and washer/dryer are all in the same room.

Re: ? for homeowners with no basement

My washer/dryer is in my kitchen for now, and my boiler is in my crawlspace basement. When we do the addition to our house, attaching the house and garage, we are moving both to the garage or the extra room we create when we do that.

Re: ? for homeowners with no basement

I have an extended Levitt ranch.

Boiler:
In the kitchen by the fireplace. We have a cover for it.

Washer and dryer:
Originally in the kitchen also (washer only). Then moved to the garage but the pipes frozen last winter. We just had the plumber moved the line to one of the extra bedroom upstairs and used one of the wall corner to install both the washer and dryer.

we have a teeny room (if you can even call it that) off the den. It holds the boiler, HWH, washer and dryer.
