This is what I heard as well. Also helps with the fingerprints as well.

Re: Stainless Steel Appliances..
I have a microfiber cloth I use. All youhave to do it wet it - wipe down the appliances - and thats it!! No chemicals (which is great if you have a baby around).

I just bought "Barkeepers Friend" and it says you can use it on stainless steel. It works very well on other things.

Re: Stainless Steel Appliances..
Buy an E-Cloth. They are FANTASTIC. You just wet it and wipe the appliance down after you clean it regularly. They are amazing. I have the yellow one!

Re: Stainless Steel Appliances..
I use a cleaner from williams sonoma for S.Steel appliances and its the only thing that works. I bought those coths that racheeee recommended and they dont work for me I get streaks...what am I doing wrong racheeee?
I dont think I would get S. Steel appliances again if I was to do it over...such a pain trying to get grubby little paw marks off them....they look nice but the upkeep is a royal PITA.

I use windex after dinner, but then WD 40 to get them to shine. It doesn't smell that great but it really works!

Be careful with titanium...we were looking into that as well, until we found out the dirty little secret about it...
Anything with a "titanium" finish is literally just painted with a special kind of metallic paint. It's not pure metal as they sort of advertise...

Us also, and out of all the ones we've tried, it works the best.
