ditto. if i had a destination wedding i would just be happy people cared enough to come. you know there's an added expense to attend so to expect the same gift as a non DW would be a bit much.
I agree. If I had a destination wedding I wouldn't expect gifts. Everyone flying there and paying for air/lodging is gift enough.

I said 300.00 but realized that "what I would give if the wedding were here" would have been a better choice for me.
300.00 for cousins and other extended family - if it were my brother getting married, I'd say much more than that (closer to 700.00), but that's just me.
