UPDATE - I went for the D & C today
I went this morning for the D&C and it went ok. Everyone was very nice and funny. I wasnt prepared for the HOT tingling that I was going to feel in the lower regions. The next thing I know I was KNOCKED out. I woke up in the recovery area, came home and slept most of the day. I am spotting a little and no cramping thank god. I will find out in a month what happened to the baby. So I wait 6 - 8 weeks for AF to show and then we are free to try again. I will probably wait till after the summer. I always try to avoid late april/early May babies (Taurus) I have alot in my family and they give EVERYONE a run for their money.

I'm glad to hear that today went at well as could be expected. Take as long as you need to heal. Thinking of you!

Re: UPDATE - I went for the D & C today
Thank you ladies, the Dr. said that most times it happens because of some type of genetic defect or may be it may have had down syndrome. A friend of mine had a M/C at 6 months and had to deliver and then bury her son. So I know that it could have been worse for me so I am grateful that it happened this way.

Re: UPDATE - I went for the D & C today
That is a great attitude to have. I have the same...the drs told me it wasn't genetic but that it was a chromosomal issue with my m/c. It took me a while to feel better...and I'm still trying to heal emotionally but finally 9 weeks after my d&c...af is here and I told dh to rest up b/c we have a lot of work to do!! You will be fine and things will work out the way they are supposed to!
Good luck to you!!
