I have smoked since 14, I only just quit from getting pregnant, so I haven't had a butt in 3 months!
I smoked about 5 a day, but definitely more on the weekends when I was drinking.

I smoked for about 9 years 1-2 packs a day.
ETA: Smoke free 6 years next month

I been cigarette free for 18 years... I started smoking at the age of 14 years old when i was in junior high school and stopped smoking in 1989 my last year of high school, i smoked 2 packs a day back than.

I smoked for about 15 years, about a pack a day..more or less at times. I quit the day I got a BFP. I just stopped and have not had a craving for one since the first few days I quit. Pretty smoothe transition. Now I just hope to God that I stupidly do not go back. I don't want to, so I don't think I will, the smell actually makes me sick now.

Quit a few years after college...so I smoked about 6 years

I smoked up to 3 packs a day (more when I worked in the bars) for 13 years. I quit cold turkey after 2 failed attempts to quit previous to that.

That's quite an accomplishment! My Dad was a 5 pack a day smoker and quit cold turkey when he was told he couldn't smoke on his flight to England in the 50's.

My DH smoked for almost 20 years, 2 packs a day. He has been clean for 4 years.
As a side note, his father was a smoker and died from lung cancer. My DH will never smoke again after witnessing his father's pain.

I smoked for about 8 years (HS through college) and smoked about 1/2 pack to a pack a day. Shortly after I moved in with DH (he was my boyfriend at the time) he did not like the smell of cigarette smoke in his apartment (he didnt even own an ashtray) and did not want me smoking in the apartment, I slowly found myself not smoking as much and then when I had my last cigarette, it was just that, my last cigarette. Had no desire or urge to get another.
I've been smoke free for 6 years and we dont even own an ashtray in our house.

I smoked about a pack a day for 11 years. I quit cold turkey when I started IVF. It was the hardest think I have ever done....that was 3 months ago and sometimes I still get cravings.
