So..2 or 3 DPO....
why the heck would I be spotting??? Its too early for implantation, right? I feel crampy too..almost like AF is coming, but how could that be?

It is most likely due to the change in hormones related to ovulation. This happens to me too.....

According to my chart- it's 5 dpo for impantation, but I have always noticed things 3 days after.

My spotting around ovulation is strange. sometimes it is for the 5 days leading up to ovulation, sometimes for a day or two after and sometimes not at all.... So, to answer your question, it can really vary, but if you are concerned I would recommend calling your doctor. I called mine a couple months ago crying because I thought for sure it indicated that something was wrong with me. He assured me that spotting around ovulation - even heavy spotting at times - is perfectly normal. I am pregnant now so I assume he was telling me the truth.....

Happened to me for the first time(last cycle). Now AF is extremely late. Not PG though, going to my gyno this week.

Thanks for the info. The spotting only seemed to have been all day yesterday..so far today, I'm okay. If it happens again,I will definitely call my doctor. Its so annoying when things happen, that have never happened before, ya know?
