Very confused - please help
I started to get EWCM last night but didn't get to BD and no + OPK. This morning I got a very low temp so I'm thinking it's an ovulation dip. I usually don't test with the OPK until around 4:00 so I don't know if I have a + OPK. Does this dip mean I'm ovulating today? If it does, does this mean today is my only chance to try? DH been away so we haven't had a chance to BD - tonight would be the first time.

Is there always a temperature "dip" on the day of ovulation?
No. Many people do see a dip the day of ovulation, but many people do not. A temperature dip cannot confirm ovulation. More important than observing a dip, is seeing a temperature rise after ovulation. Your temperature rises in response to the presence of the heat-inducing hormone progesterone, which is only released after ovulation. If you are lucky enough to have advanced warning of ovulation in the form of a temperature dip, take advantage and be sure to have intercourse that day.

if you started to get EWCM last night, then chances are you will ovulate in the next few days. i would just BD today and either every day or every other day for the next few days and you should be covered! good luck!!

Keep taking the OPK. I got EWCM before i got a + on the OPK. To be specific, got a lot of EWCM on Thurs, got + OPKs on Friday and Saturday.
