Ok..the whole Angelina adoption thing...

Don't get me wrong..what I think she is doing is wonderful, and I think adoption is wonderful..BUT....I kind of think she is moving too fast...I just wonder if her kids feel like they need more attention. I mean, she had Maddox for like 4 years, and then boom! she has Zahara and Shiloh. And now she is adopting another. I think their blended family is beautiful but I don't know...it's like too many kids all at once Chat Icon

I think the same thing....I have one child and already feel guilty about the lack of time I spend with her with work etc.
That combined with the amount of time both her and brad spend travelling makes me wonder what time they both spend with the kids at all.
The flip side of the coin is that the kids are better off with her than to be left in the places they are coming from so anytime is better than none I suppose.

Yeah, I think it's kinda a lot at once, but at least she can afford to get as much help as she needs. I've read a few times that she wants "a lot" of kids.

Sometimes I think maybe it's trying to make up for the crummy relationship she has with her dad.

Ehh-- nah-I dont think so-- think of all the moms who have 3 kids... each a yr. apart.

I think she just wants them all to be together- and grow up together!

She is one parent that you always see with her kids. I do not think they are lacking at all.

I agree.

my mom had 3 kids in 3 years, my sil had 4 kids in 4 years. She's not the typical hollywood mom (imo) thats just parenting for quantity over quality. I think she's doing some good for the world, so who are we to say how many kids she should have??? especially when we also point fingers at those in positions to help, that don't.

If you think about it, she had Maddox for 4 years, went to adopt a baby & then had an unplanned pregnancy.

I do think that she was adopting this last one rather quickly. However as someone who worked in an orphanage in a foreign country, seeing a child/children you connect with & leaving them behind is heartwrenching. At the age of 20, I left behind a little girl that I connected with and wanted to adopt.

The conditions in the orphanage I worked in were very good and I didn't want to leave the kids behind. I can only imagine that anyone would feel the same way.

I think we also have a skewed sense of time when it comes to celebrities - it seems fast to us because we're not living her life...it's like when someone you know is PG - if you don't see them every day the pregnancy seems to go by really fast, but it may seem to go on forever to them because they're with it every day.

Am I making any sense?

Makes sense to me! And I agree. Shiloh is a year old already, isn't she? I think she's just trying to keep her kids close in age.

I also read in Newsweek that she had started the adoption process right after Shiloh was born.

I think its cool. They seem to space the out age wise. They have the means, she really loves her charitable work and seems like a great mom. Why not have a bunch of kids. No different than these multi-multiples caused by fertility treatments. I wouldn't limit folks having fertility treatments just because they may have quads, plus that seems harder since they all hit at once sans the Brangelina bank account and help.

I agree! I think it's great she wants to help kids that are less fortunate, even if her attention is divided Im sure they are still much better off than they would be w/o her.
