BirthControlPills-Question?
How long did you wait to TTC after you stopped the pill....
Im currently on Estrostep...and i was wondering how long you should wait until TTC???

I started bding unprotected from the moment I stopped the pills...but I officially started...ie: figuring out my most likely fertile days 3 months after.

Two months. I wanted my cycle to get regular. It's still not regular but I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and that helped out a lot.

My OB/GYN told me to be off the Pill for about 3 months before TTC. I'm off the Pill now, but we're hoping to conceive at some point this summer. Good luck!!

I waited until my first natural period after the pill which was 34 days. Then we started TTC.

Welcome I am currently still on the pill but my doctor told me to stop the pill 1 month prior to TTC.

my dr actually told me to wait 3 months after the pill----- not sure why.. becuase i heard most women are most fertile right after coming off of them
i actually stopped the pills in september and then we started actively TTC in december - so about 4 months..... it was actually good because it got my cycle back on track so it was easier to chart it and know what was coming when!

I'd talk to your doctor although it seems like every dr. has a different opinion on this. My OB/GYN asked me a bunch of questions, and based her advice on my answers. I'm on Estrostep too. My OB/GYN told me when I'm ready to go off the pill, we can start trying right away.
