BRU usually has some good reviews from people who have bought the item...also, buy the book called Baby Bargains....my sister and I used this while we were registering....it gives feedback on every possible registry item Chat Icon

Re: What swing are you registering for??

we have the papasan one and love it!! (good choice to those who reg'd for it!) - i love the way the new starlight version looks but can't see the neting as practical....my dd started grabbing at things at 2 1/2 mos....she's been putting things in her mouth more recently too...jmho!!

(eta: we love the fp ones because they swing side to side or front to back!

Re: What swing are you registering for??

we originally registered for the papasan but then when i saw the rainforest I thought it had more to stimulate the baby so I changed it to that.

The baby I am watching now has the rainforest and he seems to enjoy it! Chat Icon

I'm thinking of switching to the rainforest one as well. Someone already bought me the papasan one, but maybe I will exchange it.
