Re: Registering

I'm 23 weeks and will be starting next week. I think alot of girls start after 20 weeks, but I think whenever you're up for it is a good time.

Re: Registering

Well, I think she should at least start researching things now. I started my registry at 19-20 weeks. DH was pushing to do it - I found out later that the reason he was pushing was because my shower was going to be during my 28th week.
Researching takes alot of time to do, it is sooooo much different than registering for your bridal shower. She will want to see what is safe for the baby and stuff. Tell her to go out and buy the Baby Bargains book. It rates alot of things from Nursery furniture to diapers, you name it. It was very helpful.

Re: Registering

I started researching on-line in the beginning of my 2nd trimester. Just started our registry Saturday at 20 weeks. We still have a long way to go though.

Re: Registering

We did it somewhere around 21-23 weeks I think. It takes a while to do the research though, so you can't really start that too early.

I totally agree w/ everything marcie posted.
The first time I walked in to Babies R Us (had no intention of registering, just seeing whats out there) I was completly overwhelmed and was on the verge of tears as I walked out.
I did research online, talked to ladies here, checked out the babies bargains books and registered after we found on the sex.

I totally agree, we did the same thing. I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack walking out of BRU that first time.
We started researching at 14 weeks pg, and finished registering around 22 weeks.
