should i go to the drs?

hi ladies - i finally tested this morning... AF is 5 days late ---- it is never ever late - even when i came off the pill 6 months ago ----

and the clearblue easy digital gave me a big NOT PREGNANT..


should i go out and get an old fashioned test...... wait and call teh dr in the morning...

im just bummed - cause i convinced myslef i was - im soooo tired, my boobs are so sore and i was late...

test CAN be wrong...but if you are nearly a week late, you might just be late. i would give it a day or two and see if AF shows up, then test again with digital or "old-fashioned." the beauty of the digital is not trying to interpret lines. back before i was even remotely thikning of TTC, i would be late [i had weird cycles] and knew i wasn't PG, but wasn't having any of my normal AF symptoms...yet i was nauseated. so, i would buy PG tests on purpose, take them, see the negative result, relax and within hours, AF would come! sometimes, we pump ourselves up and stress over something that we convince ourselves we are one way when we aren't.

as for sore boobs...well, i didn't realize until after my first PG that i got sore boobs and nausea with my period. the mind messes with you...try to relax.

They can definitely be wrong. Make sure you are using FMU and try again in the morning. I think trying a sensitive one cannot hurt. Try EPT.

Yes, these tests, as I was told by the LIF ladies after I got a BFN, were not very sensitive and could be inaccurate if there is not enough of the pg hormone. Try another one...first urine of the day. GOOD LUCK!!!

i just want AF now so we can try again this month....

os it worth makking a drs appointment for a blood test?

if you really want to see your doctor you could lie and say you are 2 weeks late. that would probably get you in.

try to wait a few more days if you can. I know it's hard. You just want to know one way or another. If it's really driving you insane, call you doc. If you can stick it out, wait to take a test with FMU.

I doubt they would see you-I would take another test with FMU tomorrow (and, knowing me, everyday until AF showed up).
