Vitamins
I just received pre-natal vitamins from my ob/gyn and am reading possible side effects. Anyone on them? Anyone experience negative side effects??

I'm taking Prenate Elite...and other than repeating it right after taking them and having a nasty taste...everything is fine

I am just taking a regular multi vitamin that has at least 400 micrograms of folic acid.

I have several samples from my doc and I am trying to determine which one has the least side effects. One gave me a pretty bad upset stomach. Most of them cause light to moderate constipation, which I get from any vitamins. The one I start tomorrow has a mild stool softener. Oh what fun!

Yeah...the doctor gave me prenate elite. I think I'll take it tonight so if I do have any side effects at least I'll be home!

I take Cal-nate and have no effects whatsoever. I take them at night which you can try if they do bother you

I take Prima-Care One and they have been fine. My Dr gave me about 5 samples and this was the only one that didn't have any side effects for me!

They made me VERY sick. Im going to try to take them again though.
If I take them with extra B6 it seems to help

Im taking CVS Prenatal vitamins and I have no side effects...as a matter of fact I've been feeling a lot more energetic since I've been taking them...I always needed more Vitamin B...

only negative is a little constipation, but a few prunes a day help with that for me.

i got very nauseaus every day when i took prenatals. Now i just take my multivitamin and a folic acid supp.

I took my first one last night and except for a slight wave of nausea this morning....all seems ok!

My doc prescribed Calnate too, at first I was okay which was surprising but then I just felt nauseous and constipated. Now I supplement folic acid and a very good multi.
