Re: Tilted Cervix???

I never heard of a tilted cervix to be honest with you, but I do have a tilted uterus. My doctor told me that I shouldnt have any problems getting pregnant and that it tilts to its "regular" position I believe in the second trimester.

My friend has a tilted cervix and got pregnant on the first try without really trying and not doing the "recommended" positions. I can't help with what the positions were but just wanted to let you know know that it did not seem to slow the TTC process. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Tilted Cervix???

Just came across this...thought you would be interested:

Have a Tilted Uterus?

20% of women have a tilted uterus. This means that the uterus tips either forwards or backwards (anteflexed or retroflexed). Having a tilted uterus does not decrease your chances of conceiving. It is actually considered to be akin to being left-handed. You can improve your chances by engaging in rear entry intercourse, however. Also, it is recommended that instead of lying on your back for 15-30 minutes after intercourse, you lie on your stomach instead. Put a pillow underneath the upper part of your thigh for elevation.

How about if I lie 15 mins on my back and 15 mins on my stomach Chat Icon
Thank you so much for the info..this was really helpful. I think I am going to drive myself crazy over analyzing and I am already a mommy!

I do too, it means nothing. According to my dr. it means absolutely nothing. some woman are born one way and some another way. I got pregnant twice quickly. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Re: Tilted Cervix???

I had a displaced cervix when my fibroids were pushing everything out of whack. I don't know if there would be a preferred position for you to BD (other than your own preference Chat Icon)

Re: Tilted Cervix???

I have one. I am not trying to conceive at this point but my gyno said that there will be no difference in trying to get pregnant. I have even read that the uterus may correct itself once you get pregnant.

This may be TMI, but I do notice that certain positions are more painful than others...............
