Birth story of my DS
Around 5:15am on Monday Dec 18th I woke up and realized that my water was about to break. When I got to the hospital they told me I was not dilated and could not do anything until I started doing something on my own or we had to wait 24 hours. Well, Monday went into Tuesday and that morning I was given a pill internally which started contractions. At that point I was 2 cm dilated. The doctor then started me on Pitocin IV around 10ish and I dilated 4 cm. Finally at around 9pm the doctor decided that I needed a C-section since I was still 4 cm dilated. At 10:26pm John George was born. 7 lbs 9 ozs, 21 1/2 inches long.
We have been home over a week now and all the relatives have left and we are can now enjoy our little bundle of joy. We love him so much.
