Donna - my DH is a wine salesman for many years, so I asked him. Here are his recommendations.
OZ
Rose' - not too dry, but not too sweet, has a little sweetness to it.
Riesling
White (either Australian or French) - has a slight sweetness to it, slightly dry.
Any type of Sauvignon Blanc - they are a little dry and have a citrusy flavor to them. He said Rodney Strong is one of the better ones.

Try a reisling..I think you will like it. It's a white on the sweeter side. I usually don't like sweet either but this kind I really like.
I agree. There is a reisling by Peconic Bay Winery that is quite yummy!!!!
Also, I love Luna de Luna, it's blue pretty bottle and the wine is good too.

Yellow Tail is fabulous...the shiraz is my favorie too( I am enjoying a glass now) and they have a good chardonney as well.
I started out just drinking white zin but now I can't stand it....too sweet!

I just poured myself a glass of Pinder White, I drank all the Luna di Luna last week. But I like Pinder too.

i hate red wine... but when i went tasting out east last year, i got a bottle of "Cabernet Franc" from Pugliese. its Awesome!!
and complements a steak dinner soooo well

I agree! yellow tail is very good! I've had the shiraz and merlot. really like the shiraz.
Think I started out on white zin and omg, sooo way too sweet for me now
Donna, I think you would really like pinot grigio!!!
