Very strange. DD is 6 months old and gives tongue kisses sometimes but not because it is requested or reciprocated by daddy or myself. I overheard DH telling her she wasn't supposed to kiss daddy that way a few weeks ago

Can you please explain what you feel is so wrong with rubbing noses with your child?  I "eskimo kiss" my kids ALL the time and have never once thought it was inappropriate - and ESPECIALLY not when compared to TONGUE KISSING a child.
