Favorite Cream to Prevent Stretch Marks
What is everyone's favorite cream to prevent stretch marks? I have a stretch marks from my last pregnancy but would like to use something to help reduce getting more. Thanks!

It's genetic so all the creams in the world won't prevent you from getting them if you're prone to it.

Yup! I cocoa buttered and used coconut oil 3x a day. My stomach is covered.

Don't throw your money down the drain. If you are genetically predisposed to getting them you could bathe in a vat of cocoa butter for 9 months and it wouldn't matter.
My skin was dry as a bone my whole pregnancy and I never even moisturized and I didn't get one stretch mark. Neither did my mom or sister. All genetic

Favorite Cream to Prevent Stretch Marks
I used Palmers Tummy Butter. I know some people say it doesn't make a difference but my mom and sister have stretch marks and I don't. I religiously applied it morning and night. I figured if it didn't work, it only cost me a few bucks!

If you are prone to them you will get them. I used nothing gained 70 pounds and don't have any. My mom has them so not sure if it's genetics or luck lol

You could have inherited your skin elasticity from your dad's side.

Favorite Cream to Prevent Stretch Marks
I used the cream religiously with my first pregnancy and my stomach was COVERED (it was literally horrific). This pregnancy I haven't put cream on once and I'm 7 months pregnant and didn't get one new stretch mark! The old faded ones are still there but they look the same as they did the day I got my bfp. So weird.

I'll be odd woman out. During my first pregnancy, I slathered myself in bio oil and a cream I read about online (I can look it up if you want). I had not one stretch mark. I got lazy during my second pregnancy and never put anything on. I ended up with stretch marks that time. Could have been because it was my second pregnancy, but I want to kick myself to this day for being lazy.

I used this for my first pregnancy and have been using it this pregnancy as well. It's not that expensive and a little goes a long way! I also think stretch marks are genetic and I've never had stretch marks on my belly, but I'm too scared of getting them to not put some type of lotion on.

I use just regular lotion for my stomach, I don't buy anything special just for pregnancy. You should moisturize your skin pregnant or not. If you're genetically predisposed to stretch marks it necessarily stop them, but it will help with itching and keep your skin soft
