Just have to share this feel-good moment
Sorry if this is long but I really had to share:
So after work I went to the library to catch up on a little reading. I noticed an elderly woman struggling with the computer and trying to get the librarian's attention about something. I went about my reading. I then heard her asking for help again and not that the librarian was annoyed but she wasn't really willing to help out either. So you can tell the elderly woman was getting frustrated. She even asked the man next to her computer station to help her but the man didn't even turn to her. I felt soo bad. So I got up and went to her asking what I can help her with. Turns out that she is an artist and is looking for a particular still life impressionist. She showed me a picture of a painting she made and was looking for the artist. Well after googling so many search words 2 hrs later, no such luck. You can tell the lady was so upset because apparently she has been searching for months and no one could help her. She even told me, I guess I can go home and cry now. My heart broke for her. I promised her I would look for it that night since I had to leave the library to get my kids. So I took a picture of the painting from my phone, got her phone number and left. Last night I couldn't stop thinking of her. I tried really hard to find that artist but sooo many paintings came up and none was the one we were looking for. I really gave up. I closed my eyes and prayed to God. I told him how I wanted to make this woman happy. And I opened up my phone again to search one last time and guess what I found it!!! I couldn't believe it!
SOOO I just got off the phone with her and she is soooo happy! She even called me her angel! Turns out she lives right by me so I will be dropping off the picture I printed from my computer. I really feel good right now!

You don't know how hard it was to find this particular painting so many paintings came up with flowers and pots

How did you finally find it?
I googled still life impressionist green and white flowers red cloth next to it on table with pots
but the thing is I put those same words at the library and it didn't come up. I don't get how it came up this time! I am so happy though!

I hate when I see people ignoring someone in need of help. Good for you for stepping up and not only helping her in the moment but going above and beyond.

Isn't there a way to upload a picture into google images, and it will search for everything that looks like it? I know there used to be something like that out there

oh I didn't even know that was possible.
that would have made it a lot easier but glad I was able to find it anyhow!
