Bachelorette party invite question
I always assume that at a bachelorette party each guest pays their own way. I'm getting ready to send out itinerary for the day but I'm wondering if I should include a sentence that clearly states that the bridal party is not picking up the whole tab. I really don't want there to be an issues the day of. If so how do I word it?

Re: Bachelorette party invite question
I have to organize a bachelorette party also my plan is to tell everyone what we are doing and if I know the price how much it would cost.
So for instance we are doing a pri fix menu so I will let them know the price for each of them.

Bachelorette party invite question
Were not doing price fix but i did email the link to the websites of the restaurant and bars they plan on going to just so people had an idea of pricing but I didn't specifically say anything. I just wanted to put together an itinerary for all the guests so they are aware of timeline. I figured I should say something just to be clear but I don't know how to word it.

This is the best way to do it. Just give them idea of how much the places are that you guys are planning to go to.

Re: Bachelorette party invite question
I would probably put an asterisk at the end saying something like... "Please be prepared to pay your own way. The bridal party will be covering the bride to be."

Re: Bachelorette party invite question
Are you printing an actual invitation or are you just sending mass email/text?
Because in an email it doesn't have to be so formal. You Can just say "we are planning on doing x,y,z. This restaurant is fairly priced so thought it would work well for everyone's budget. And the show or whatever else you plan on doing, is $00 per ticket. Please let me know if you can attend"

Bachelorette party invite question
Does your plan include anything besides a restaurant and done bars? If not, I can't imagine anyone not expecting to pay for themselves. If there's a limo or show or something I would just send the approximate cost per person for each part so everyone is aware. Just went to one and the person organizing just texted "the limo is $x per person so please bring cash" etc so everything was clear and we knew in advance.

Re: Bachelorette party invite question
I collected money upfront for the schlong show since it was almost 1k on my credit card. Then told everyone that we will be splitting the dinner bill evenly 10-ways (11 ppl but everyone chips in for the bride). So if Bertha orders 5 Martinis and Sally decides she's going to have a diet coke and salad, tough shit.

Re: Bachelorette party invite question
Yes. I also made sure to tell everyone to bring cash as I was not dealing with 10 credit cards.

Bachelorette party invite question
Thanks all for the advice. I just stated in the email to please bring cash to make it easier since we will be splitting cost for transportation and dinner. I don't want there to be any misunderstanding at this point.
