Psychics

Has any one been to one, do you believe in that sort of thing? I had this discussion with my SO the other day and she believes in it all. I'm way more skeptical, and don't readily believe in this sort of thing.

i'm part skeptic/part believer.
i think thy are very good at reading people and can tell a lot from just your look (like sherlock holmes. lol)

i also think you can make their "predictions" fit your life in hindsight.

for example, i went to one years ago (i was single at the time) she told me I would marry someone whose name started with a D. I automatically thought of my ex-boyfriend. I did not marry him, far from it. BUT i did marry someone whose name starts with a D!

I've been to one several times. I'm a skeptic by nature and went into it not believing that he was going to tell me anything that wasn't a generalization. I also didn't give him any info about myself AT ALL (not even my name). I was very surprised when he told me things that came true - like things that could not have been guessed or generalized. I'm a believer now. But I will say, that I think *some* people have this gift and many many people are scammers who say they have the gift. It's all about finding a true psychic.

Yeah, I do think that these "psychics" read body language and throw out statements one after the other until one sticks. Most people that go to them want to believe and will accept a statement even if it doesnt totally make sense. IDK... Maybe I'm wrong, but I still think its a scam in some way.

I went to one several times. She had told me about my uncle and grandmother's deaths and how it would come about prior to happening. It was so scary. She said she didn't normally say those things but both were going to happen soon. They both passed in the manner she had said.

I'm sure there are more frauds than not but I do believe that there are people out there with a gift. I have never been to one but I have an appointment coming up with the coffee reader from RHONY.

I've had some that gave me direct conversations I've had with people, others who were so full of shit they stunk. I take it with a grain of salt. I won't specifically do something because some random person said I should. If what they say happens, win, if not no loss. I know some people who wait with baited breathe. I can't live like that.

I'm always skeptical and I think most of them are full of it. I do know a guy that I'm pretty sure is the real deal though. He just shares what comes to him if he feels the need to. He never takes money from anyone and the things he's said to family members was spot on.
