A snipet of this speech a appeared on my wall via CNN. People are chanting build the wall. Are people really supporting this man over his claim to build an fing wall on Mexico border?! Do people really think a wall is going to stop them from coming? How big is he planning on building this wall? People actually believe it's going to happen if he does get elected.  these people are fing morons if they really think it will happen. And I am still baffled how any self respected women supports this man!

Well I guess that's one good thing! I remember having a paid day off when I was working in Sydney because GW Bush was there for a conference. They didn't want any problems, so everything was shut down. That was probably one of the few, very few, things I liked about that president.

They're apparently my neighbors bc I see Trump signs in people's windows. I just realized I haven't seen signs in people's yards (just windows) - I wonder if they get stolen frequently.

Nate Silver is predicting a contested convention even more. It's looking more likely now, with regards to delegate numbers. I'm really wondering what Trump is going to do when he is not nominated. It's too late to run independent now. Who will he endorse? Will he make it an even bigger show?
I'm sure it will be a bigger show. He is a malignant narcissist who is gaslighting Americans but most people do not identify that. He won't go quietly.
It's funny, I was at an event with Nate Silver in early November and despite Trump's lead at that point, he did not think he would ultimately be the candidate. Given his track record on predictions, I hope he is right, although I hope it's Kasich not Cruz

But Nate Silver was wrong about something this election. I forget what it was, but I hope it doesn't happen again.
I don't care for Kasich. He's said some awful stuff, too. Can't stand Cruz either. I liked Jeb, but I wouldn't have voted for him anyway. I found he was "moderate" on some social issues, but not enough for me to vote for him.

yes there were women there  I don't get it. I would love to seriously have women tell me how they justify the shit he says and continue to support this man. baffles me.
(I am sure I will get the answer that I don't have to defend my choices to you. which is true you don't but I would still love to understand how one rationalizes this to find it ok to support him)

I read this article this morning. Roger Stone Threatens to Send Trump Supporters to Delegate Hotel Rooms
Granted Politico is a left-leaning site but RedState.com is not and has a very similar story. If it does not work out in Trump's favor he will absolutely not go quietly.

I'm not voting for trump. I love sanders. But from my circle, the trump people don't agree with what he's sad about women but they can overlook it. They are disgusted with the way the country is going and feel he can make a difference.

Judging by some of the local FB groups I'm in, sadly, a lot of LIers support him. My two neighbors (women) that I wait at the bus stop with were saying that they liked him the other day. I just kept my mouth shut, but I can not understand why in the slightest. Do they honestly think he gives two shits about middle class suburbs like ours?

I think the problem is a lot of these people (especially on LI) think that they are "better than" and think they are in Trump's sights. But the truth of the matter is the only people he wants to help are him and his corrupt billionaire cronies.
I have one person on FB that spews his garbage over and over and I just have to and because she really just has no clue.
