If you send out Christmas cards ...
Do you send them out to people who do NOT? Specifically, extended family members you do not see during the year.

once in a while I do. I did this year. I have a cousin in NJ whom I never see or speak to anymore. We use email or call, but that slowly stopped. This year for the Jewish holidays I shot him a message and decided to send him a card this year, just to re connect.

I send to all aunts, uncles, and cousins on my side regardless of if we see them. I send only to the people I know on DH's side. There are a lot of cousins I've never met (13 years in) and DH does not even know who they are.

Yes, I send out cards to our extended family and friends. I will get cards back from maybe half of the people on my list.

I keep track of who sends cards back-after a few years of not getting a card unless they are close family/friends I stop sending

Yes. I do. We get maybe 1/2 but I know some are old and some are single and have gushed how much they love it so I will continue to send.

I don't really keep track of who sends us cards. I send them out to pretty much everyone, regardless of whether we get a card from them

If I were aware someone sends cards but did not send one to me, I would not send back the following year. If someone just flat out does not send to anyone, I still send to that person. I didn't send out holiday cards until I had a child but always appreciated the ones I received before that.

This. Our elderly relatives get a pass. My great aunt passed away and she was the one who did the Christmas cards. I still send to my great uncle even though he doesn't reciprocate. We sent to DHs cousin and her family for a few years, never got one back, so I took them off the list.

Yes I send to those who don't send. My mom never ever sent Christmas cards until I was older than I would write them for her. But she always loved seeing everyone's card especially the photo ones. So I just send to everyone. If they don't want it they can throw it to the trash.

Just close friends, my mom & brothers (and only because the cards have pics of our kids on them), DH's parents & aunts. We hardly receive any, just from the same group of people we send them to. It makes me sad, because I'd love to receive more Christmas cards, but we just don't have that many people we're close to & very small families.

Yeah I send to most people on my wedding list still....I don't really keep track of who does and does not send and most people like to see pics of young kids, if I wasn't sending pictures of my kids I might not send as many

I'm not doing Christmas Cards this year. Everyone I would send too is either on Facebook or I see around the Holidays. I do send a card to my Grandma, Parents, Niece and Nephew and that is only because they get excited to get mail lol.

I don't send cards anymore, not since my divorce. I think it is also awkward because I live with my SO and he has a child, so I'm not going to send just a card of my kid, etc, etc.
But I love getting other people's, my lifestyle just doesn't account for it anymore
