Woman threw her 6 month old out a window yesterday.
I pray there is more to the story. I pray that the mother was so mentally disturbed she just didn't know what she did.
I don't know details, just what is being reported.
A woman in the Bronx THREW/dropped her 6 month old out of the apartment window.
The reports says the woman was emotionally disturbed...........
I pray for the soul of that poor poor child. My heart aches for what that child had to go through before she passed.
This makes me numb.

And it was the 3rd such death for infants in a month in NYC. This person has 3 other kids.
But I only get 1 baby and some decent people get none. Go figure.

I did read she was mentally ill and screaming something about the devil when she did that.
I also read she has 3 other children!!!
I can't. I hate reading these stories. Give them away. Give them to people who can't have kids.
Stop killing your children!

I will never understand this. Ever.
There are so many of us, who are mentally stable and could give a child a beautiful life but it just doesn't happen.
Then there's people who don't have a pot to piss in and are mentally unstable - they can have as many as they feel like
My heart breaks for that baby and for her other children. May they be placed into loving homes and live a life of love , full of opportunity that they deserve

This is so sad, didn't another woman do this recently as well? I don't get how mothers can do this to their own babies. If you don't want the kid, there are a ton of people out there looking to adopt and give children a loving home.

I saw this one the news last night and I couldn't believe it. Witnesses said her other kids were screaming at her to stop. I feel so bad those children nad to witness their mother do that. That poor baby

I saw this on the news last night. Its just sick. The witnesses that were interviewed were so shaken up. One woman said they kept screaming to her not to do it. They also said she was trying to get the window opened more because she wanted to throw her other children out. We really need better mental health screening and care in this country.

Well, apparently this woman is trying to pin this on her loved ones because she asked them for help and they didn't listen.
I think she's full of shit and this is her way of trying to be let off the hook.
If she had any remorse she wouldn't be yelling that it was someone else's fault for not listening to her instead of being sorry for what she did to her baby.
IMO, she's just a disgusting pig.

This makes me ill, literally. Every single day there is some horrific story about a baby being killed in the news. I saw this one yesterday and another story about a 9 week old in Florida.
Drop your baby off at a hospital to go to a good home. There are 1000s of good families that would do anything to have a baby.
You really can't understand something like this that the person is so mentally disturbed.

Well said. Its such a shame...the child welfare and adoption system in this country is pitiful. Proven unfit parents have way too many rights and their children deserve better.

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- A 27-year-old woman from the Bronx has been charged with killing her 6-month-old daughter by throwing her out the window Thursday night.
Tenisha Fearon was initially taken to the hospital for evaluation after the incident, but was then taken into police custody. She was charged Friday morning with second-degree murder.
Her 6-month-old infant, Janillah Lawrence, was pronounced dead a short time after being taken to the hospital.
Here is what we know about Fearon:
1. Tenisha Fearon was home at her Tremont apartment with four children and other parent before the incident occurred. In addition to the 6-month-old girl, there was a 4-year-old girl, 8-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy.
2. Fearon had been a family day-care provider, licensed to run a facility from her Bronx apartment for two years. She got the child care permit on May 1, 2013 for her apartment at 2200 Tiebout Ave. That license allowed her to take care of up to six kids during the day, and two additional ones before and after school hours. It is unknown how many children she actually supervised, if any.
3. Fearon had no complaint or violations filed against her. The license expired on April 30. She did not apply for renewal and her program was closed.
4. Before the infant was thrown, witnesses said Fearon was screaming about God, ***** and at the end of days, as she threw things out her sixth floor window.
5. During her court hearing Friday morning, Fearon was remanded to jail.
6. The judge also ordered a psych exam for Fearon, as well as medical attention and protective custody in jail. The defense asked that the protective custody be provided only if necessary because he didn't want her to be "isolated."
7. Fearon was quiet throughout the hearing, dressed in a gray "Gap Athletic" sweatshirt in blue lettering, and what appeared to be either leggings or sweatpants.
8. Fearon's next court appearance is set for Oct. 21.

Say what you want, but I firmly believe that some people should be forcefully sterilized, like this animal here!
What did this baby ever do to deserve to be killed by her own 'mother'??? It would have been better if she was never born and spared the suffering!

WTF man...these things are seriosly disturbing on such a deep level that I don't even know how to process them. Like people throwing thier babies in the trash...how could you even think of doing stuff like this!!
