OMG! I think I nearly had a heart attack and bit off all of my nails lol... my heart rate was through the roof watching that game. So glad they won as I don't think the Dodgers deserved to go to the NLCS. We probably would have swept them if not for that Utley debacle. Last night was definitely a one man (Murphy) show.
SO stoked, now onto the Cubs...
LET'S GO METS!!!!!!  
Also, I watched Jim Breuer's video and he mentioned something about shame on Gary Cohen for dissing Daniel Murphy or something like that... anyone know what Cohen said?

Gary made comments (I love Gary but I do not agree with this) about how the mets should not re sign Murphy. That he is a 6,7 lineup guy,he hurts them
In the field and on the bases(way to prove him wrong yesterday lol) and he's not a power hitter(that I agree with)

Yep. And I love Gary too but I do not agree with him here.
Yeah, from a technical standpoint Murph is the 6,7 lineup guy but you know what? His HEART makes all that logic go out the window.
That man has such a love for that game and such a love for that team-- and when he gets going, he is unstoppable. He is so great under pressure and he TRULY has such a zest for it all.
And when dealing with sports, that commitment and love will outweigh any "on paper" performances.
He is a heck of a ballplayer and a wonderful guy. I've met him twice, super genuine.
ETA- and I believe that his love and passion is infectious and brings every single member of the rest of the team UP each time.

What I'm really surprised at is when they put him at originally at second base he was bad. Real

A long way and maybe not the best defensive second baseman but ion just fine
And for me he is a solid 5 spot hitter and the way wright has been,I move murph to the two hole
And the most important he has heart. He plays the game like he loves it. Fans love him. More than reason enough to sign him

Yeah but look how far that got Reyes. I'd like to see him re-signed but the Mets are notorious for bad decisions when it comes to this. We can only hope they see the forest for the trees in the front office!

Yeah but Reyes' issue was that he got hurt at the drop of a hat.
Every time the wind would blow he was injured again.
So, heart or not, Reyes being as fragile as a Baccarat vase was the bigger issue.

Not going to lie my dh loves the Mets and every year id laugh when they lost cause they were just so bad. But im totally on board for them to win this series. They really stepped up their game and are on fire.

I'm so excited for them!!
I feel terrible for my DH. He is a DIE HARD Met fan and he is in India for work this week and the poor guy has been setting his alarm to wake up to try and stream the game online. The wifi in the hotel is hit or miss but last night (AM there) he was able to watch most of the game!
Thank god it's not the World series or he probably would have told his job that he wasn't going! LOL

Reyes played hard I give him that. Murphy plays like a 10 year old playing stickball and I love that

We watched the game at the Playwright by Penn Station and it was insane. It's the bar that the 7 Line Army goes to, and the crowd was incredible. Even cowbell man showed up this week! Definitely recommend it as an alternate to McFadden's for anyone in the city trying to catch a game. LGM!!

Ugh I just saw that people that were able to get world series tickets from the 7 Line Army's sale are selling them on stubhub... what a shame, there are actual fans (like me) that would LOVE to go!
On another note it looks like DeGrom is starting game 1, which I am surprised, I thought they would have used Harvey.
