Glassdoor Salaries
Are the salaries on glassdoor correct or is it like wikipedia where anyone can put anything down?

Glassdoor Salaries
I've never found that any of those websites that actually show salary ranges are accurate. I find that they are usually too high for the medical field, or assume NYC and NYC to LI is typically vastly different, for example, I could easily make between $30-70k more in the city than I do out here, but I refuse to deal with the commute right now.

Re: Glassdoor Salaries
The businesses I have worked for it's fairly accurate. Usually current or past employees post what their salary was.

Re: Glassdoor Salaries
Glassdoor is self-reported. Salaries are very accurate from what I've found.

I have to rescind my first response, yes, Glassdoor is very accurate. This is the ONLY website I've ever checked that actually shows the information anywhere close to what is true.

Re: Glassdoor Salaries
Glassdoor is fairly accurate - as long as people report it accurately :)

Accurate because it's employee reported.

Re: Glassdoor Salaries
I make 50k more that what is listed for my title. I think because all responses were out of state.
