As DaniJude pointed out...iust was delicious when the announcer said "he who shall not be named" and they booed him for 10 min.

I said to my boyfriend - I'll prob be dead by the time they ever make the playoffs again  and you'll DEFINITELY be dead  (he's 15 years older than me so we always joke). I said, so we had better go and cheer them on and really enjoy this!!

My coworker is going to tonight's game. So jealous!! Also I look forward to Jim Breuer's videos every day about the mets lol... let's hope they close it out tonight! LGM!!

So funny because I saw him the last two times, before last night, that I went to the game -- I always run into him at Citi Field at the games. He was with his daughter (at least, I'm pretty sure it is his daughter) the last time back in June.
I didn't see him last night but that was because it was so packed. He is usually in the suites. He's a nice guy.

Oh that's so awesome! He does seem like a really cool guy. I knew of him from SNL but really didn't start following him until he started posting those videos, I ended up buying tickets to his standup show at the paramount in February.

I know how big this is for Met fans and I have to admit, I'm super excited for this team. They have the greatest fans and just have some really amazing players this season. They deserve this more than any other team. That being said....I almost kicked my DH out last night because he got excited and yelled (in excitement but it was like an angry yell) while holding one of our 5 month olds..and she started crying. It was after 10pm and both babies were calm and ready for bed.

I was watching last night and I started yelling when they got that hit with bases loaded. DH was upstairs putting my DD (who is 4.5) to bed. and he starts yelling are you ok whats going on.
oh nothing the Mets just had an amazing play ... he clearly wasn't has excited as I was

I get so nervous when it comes down to these do or die situations especially for DH. He is a HUGE Mets fan, and was at Game 7 in '06. It took him a few weeks to get over the loss, so I really, really hope they win tonight. And while it certainly would have been better to do it at Citi, it would be amazing if they win the game in LA!
