I'm sorry. I had to share this. I can't imagine why the sirens would be going off. And even more obvious, the FIRST thing I would do is go to FB and ask rather than TAKE COVER!!!!!!

Out on context I might actually give this one the benefit of the doubt.
If it is stormy out and you are in Oklahoma then you are stupid .
If it were a sunny day on Long Island I might question it too.

Per my cousin their sirens go off sometimes in beautiful sunny uneventful weather for whatever reasons so this may be a valid question by the poster.
