Friday Pet Peeves
Anyone have some today? 
Mine are:
Everyone who goes to or works in a school and is off for the summer and is shoving it in the faces of us poor suckers who will be working all summer on facebook.
The young 20 year olds who constantly sound fake or laugh all.friggin.day.long. There is no way that you can possibly be working if you are walking around doing this and you are NOT as cute as you think you sound.

I'll play!
4 way stops signs. Not the actual stop signs but the fact that people haven't a CLUE how to handle a 4 way stop sign.
I was just in a particularly bad parking lot at lunch and there is a 4 way stop sign. As I roll up to it someone is entering the intersection so I obviously wait. As I am waiting someone rolls up to another branch of it and as soon as the first guy clears the intersection they just go. Um, I was there first!
Then someone else starts doing it after them!
Um, no!
It's MY turn now a-holes!
Ridiculous.
Learn to drive.

Yep it is either no one wants to go or there is that one person who thinks they have the right to go before everyone else.

I have the same pet peeve EVERY time I get in my car. I cannot stand idiot freakin drivers who:
1) Don't know how to use their turn signal. NO, you don't start to turn and then put it on after the fact............I've already figured out what you're doing by then.
2) Have zero understanding of how to merge into traffic on the highway/road.
3) Are constantly on their stupid phones and NOT paying attention to a single thing going on around them on the road...............they are sitting still at green lights, drifting in the lane, driving exceptionally slow because they are trying to text while driving, or any other stupid behavior you can think of behind the wheel.
Aside from that, I also cannot stand people who talk REALLY loud in an attempt to bring everyone within a 5 mile radius into their conversation, a conversation which usually is unintelligent, ignorant, and makes them sound stupid.
Lastly, I understand how kids can be, of course, being a mom myself BUT I absolutely cannot tolerate parents who constantly turn a blind eye to every single bratty, disobedient, obnoxious thing their kid does in public. Seriously, get some control of your child, be the parent, and address the issues at hand. Ignoring a behavior and allowing full scale chaos to ensue really isn't always the best course of action. I hate lazy parenting.

Friday Pet Peeves
Receiving an invoice for services you did NOT approve and were NOT expecting to pay for, especially from a company who is so backwards and doesn't respond to requests for actual services that you do want. (This JUST happened, so it's right at the top of my mind.)

I work in the city and people who walk with their faces in their phone drive me insane. Can you not just walk without texting/checking FB/twitter or doing whatever the heck you are doing? No one pays attention to anything anymore everyone is staring at their phone. Just walk!!

People who do not know/understand the basic rules of the road! I commute about an hour each way and I just hate driving because people do not know what they are doing or they are not paying attention.
People who do not use sidewalks! I live in a lovely development with sidewalks on both sides of the road, but a majority of the time people walk in the middle of the road. This drives me crazy. My hubby was hit by a hit & run driver while jogging a couple years ago - he now is ALWAYS on the sidewalk.

People who cannot walk the sidewalks/cross the street without their nose in their phones texting, or talking and walking oblivious to what is around them.
I walk with a cane and can't tell you how many times people will walk into my cane and then look at me as if it were my fault.
I so want to do the old lady thing and whack them with it.

Mine too! And people who stop dead in their tracks when they realize they are walking the wrong way. Move to the side and then turn around to go the right way, sheesh

Friday Pet Peeves
I held the door open for someone when I was going to get lunch, and they didn't say thank you.
I let a man who was confused about where the line was go ahead of me because he had technically been there first, and he didn't say thank you.
Then in the parking lot, there was a sports car with an Alabama license plate parked in two spots because he didn't want anyone parking next to him.
I should've just eaten lunch at home.

My favorite is when they are doing it while walking down stairs and causes a back-up because they are not walking quite as fast as they think they are.
