Oh gosh. I am so sorry. That is disgusting. I would figure out what state they are manufactured in and call that state's department of health. Ok they are manufactured in MAssachussets. I looked up the food safety bureau from the MA dept of public health Link

I scrolled down the picture and just caught a glimpse of it and still vomited a little in my mouth. Holy Hell, this is totally goig to get me back on track with my diet bc I too am never eating anything ever again - I would have seriously DIED>

I would have died. Died!!!!! That is a nightmare come true. It makes me not want to eat anything processed ever again. Like I'm not eating dinner tonight. I am so sorry this happened to you! And I can't believe how shady the company is being!

just wondering why the need to post on FB and not just call the company directly? though I think it is gross to find something dead. IMO i dont see the need to publicly post until you tried the other path.

Like I said, I had called them prior to posting, and could not sit on hold forever ;) In addition, do YOU think they would alert all of their consumers to this issue? Highly doubt it! I appreciate it when people post nastiness on FB, makes me steer clear of their products or at least be vigilant about checking them. I remember the moldy applesauce pouches, capri sun mold, etc., and the company isn't going to advertise those issues to it's consumers

Thank you, I will contact them tomorrow! The lady at the FDA was absolutely disgusted when I told her what I found!

Yeah, to me, it seems more likely that a rodent would be undetected in a factory setting rather than on fresh produce. Maybe it's mental, but a mouse on a conveyor belt or in a machine in a food processing plant sounds so much more dirty and disgusting to me than a bug or animal fresh off a farm. I am including bagged lettuce in that if it comes out of a processing plant.
