I don't get the connection between bullet proof vest and fashion... I had no idea police officers were so fashionable.

According to an interview he did with style.com, the London riots was one of his influences for the adidas line (of tattered rags and bullet proof vests). "I was living in London at that time and saw the way that the kids wanted the clothes and I didn’t have the skill set to do the more inexpensive clothes," he told the website... "Because I’m only concerned with making beautiful products available to as many people as possible … The least I could do is spend my time trying to give other people a piece of the so-called good life. Everyone should have the good life." He is so pretentious and out of touch with reality... what part of bullet proof vests and riots is considered "the good life" to Kanye?

This is not the West family being on the forefront of fashion. This is the West family coming up with stupid shock factors and ridiculous antics to ensure the attention is always on them... like naming their daughter North West and restricting her wardrobe to black leather and lace lingerie, dressing her like an androgynous French hooker... like bum rushing stages to steal spotlights and referring to himself as the Christian Messiah. If normal everyday people behaved like this, they'd be considered mentally ill. These people need to just keep topping themselves to keep selling the shock factor. At this point, I would only be shocked if I saw this kid wearing a pink ruffled dress and holding a doll. I mean, they say she's a girl but all I see is boy. I wouldn't put it past them to have birthed a boy and insist on passing him off as a girl.

That child will need a serious team of round-the-clock therapists if she wants any semblance of a normal life - or she could always follow in the Kardashian-West footsteps and act like an assh0le.

I think our point was that it's a fashion piece not an actual bullet proof vest for safety. Just like kimono style dresses were a trend, construction boots, combat boots or even camouflage print - my son wears this but he isnt going to fight a war.
