Where to send flowers home or funeral home?
My former babysitters DH passed away. The wake is tonight and I will be going. Do I send flowers to her home or funeral home?

I'd prob send to her house. I know when my mother died there were so many floral arrangements at the funeral home, I didn't exactly notice who sent what. And when the wake is over, most of the flowers are tossed or donated. The family usually picks a few pieces to bring to the burial site.

I would sent it to the funeral home. You can get a plant so she can bring it home. Just let her know and the funeral home director. They should hold it for after the burial.

BTDT. I vote home, especially if you are sending a plant.
My mom was cremated. We had a small wake. At the end of the wake I felt inundated with flowers and plants. We knew that whatever we did not take was going in the trash. We took a few home but the rest went in the trash. I preferred what was sent to the house.
