so they send Jordana home from daycare
Well theycalled me right before I picked her up to tell me she has a virus and a high fever. I run there and they told me she has 101.5. I walk in there and she looks fine. They told me she threw up and she has the virus that is going around. I took her home and her temp was 98.5 I called them to see if I can bring her in tomorrow. They told me they took her temp in the ear 99.5 and then under the arm 101.5. Since she was vomiting she has "the virus" and she can't come in. I didn't know they were doctors.
So I call the potential nanny who used to work for the daycare and L is coming tomorrow to babysit. I would stay home with her but of course I have to go to Court tomorrow and my boss may be in 
I swear a part of me thinks they told me she was sick and won't let her come back tomorrow because they are short-staffed.

I hope she licked all of the director's spoons while she was there.
Boo Hiss for the double pay for one day of care but a nice quiet day with a fun nanny sounds great.

I wouldn't be surprised either, especially since you "gave notice" too.
Probably is good that you're pulling her out if this is what they do when they are short staffed.

My girlfriend worked at a daycare & her 2 children went for free. They would do that to her on her days off! Call & say this one had the runs- or this one threw up- she would go & they would be fine!
She had seen them do this to parents all the time! Nice to be able to rely on them right!? Especially when you pay them!
You DD will have more fun w/ L &w/ the one on one attention and being at home w/ her things!

Noah had a virus last week and in between hot and sweaty crying jags, he was absolutely fine! These winter viruses are highly contagious so its best to keep her home if you can! You wouldn't want the girl at the desk next to you sick and horrible would you!
I hope she feels better!

Sounds like they aren't too fond of you knowing that you're pulling out soon anyway. If you were staying, I'd say it would be worth calling the director, otherwise, let it go and smile to yourself knowing she'll be in better hands anyway
