request to send shower gifts to the home
My friend's daughter is getting married and she (the daughter) recently moved out of state. She will be here for her shower and wedding. The invitation says that the bride is requesting that any gifts be sent to her out of state home. This makes complete sense to me but I feel funny showing up empty handed. Would it be cheesy to put a picture of the gift in a card (or should the gift be a surprise when she opens it at home?)

my mom wrapped a box with a picture of the changing table inside when she didn't want to lug it to my sisters shower......

Someone took a picture of their gift put it in a frame and wrapped that at my wedding shower so I didn't have to unwrap breakable items. I thought it was such a cute idea. So I say yes to picture in the card
