Gift for NICU team?
DS should be coming home soon from the NICU. It's been 4 weeks so far. And the are hoping by the end of next week. Everyone at the hopsital has been amazing. Is there something I can send to say thank you for taking such amazing care of my son?

Re: Gift for NICU team?
We brought up 2 big cookie trays . . One for the day shift and 1 for the night shift. They were so wonderful to my son I wish it could have been much more.

Re: Gift for NICU team?
We did a little luncheon...deli hero, salads, etc., but we were there for 3 months. About a month in, my MIL made a huge tray of cookies for everyone. They were a hit.

Re: Gift for NICU team?
We brought in edible arrangements at the very end but throughout my sins stay, we would bring something small weekly. The nurses truly appreciated it especially the overnight ones

Re: Gift for NICU team?
We brought them variety packs of Crumbs cupcakes and I wrote out a very heartfelt card. They were VERY appreciative
ETA: we brought these on the day that DD got to come home. During her stay (6 weeks) we would always offer to bring them coffee and/or snacks when we would go down for lunch while DD was sleeping.

Re: Gift for NICU team?
Not the nicu, but when I delivered dh brought in a bunch of little Vincent's pies and a bunch of boxes of donuts for l&d nurses and maternity ward nurses. They were very, very appreciative. I think most people don't do much for them so they were genuinely appreciative.

Re: Gift for NICU team?
I don't know what hospital but I work in LIJ and I we are not allowed to take anything from patients including food. We can lose our job. I'm sure they're is a way around it but I would hate for you to spend money and they can't take it

Gift for NICU team?
I filled a tall glass jar with assorted candies for the unit with a card for all his nurses, they loved it!

Re: Gift for NICU team?
I am a nurse and work at a hospital. We always love food! Lol people will send cookies, edible arrangements, candy, or bring in donuts. Very few people bring in real food - the times I can think of were people who owned food establishments.
